In its 50th Anniversary season, TDT showcases Christopher House’s unique contribution to Canadian dance with a mixed program of masterworks from his
career. This 90-minute program (with intermission) features the kinetic classic Vena Cava (1998), Martingales (2016), and Glass Thirteen, plus Echo Dark 1 (2015), and the Duet and Trio from Fjeld (1990). House Mix celebrates the past, present and future of one of Canada’s “...most enduringly inventive choreographers.” – National Post

After 30 years, the Capitol Centre is still North Bay’s hub for arts and entertainment. Built in 1927, this 932-seat venue has played host to a wide range of live performances by the North Bay Symphony, international musical acts, acclaimed Broadway shows, dance recitals, weddings, workshops and movies. As you walk into the historic building’s entrance from the lively Main Street, you’ll see the WKP Kennedy Gallery with its ever-changing exhibits featuring the finest works of historical and contemporary northern, Canadian, and international visual artists.
