Tipi Building Workshop

Have you ever been interested in exploring the construction of a tipi?
Nomadic Canvas and North Star Acres have partnered to offer an original tipi building event!
In this one-day workshop, you will learn how to build a 22 foot diameter tipi from start to finish. This size of structure provides a wonderful communal area in which up to 30 people can fit sitting, and 9 to 11 adults sleeping.
Our day will include choosing, cutting and de-barking the trees, dismantling and reassembling the 22 foot diameter tipi, building the fire inside the tipi. We’ll also be including an introduction to Horse Whispering with the equines from Horse Ability.

The workshop cost includes refreshments and nutritious snacks; each participant is to bring a lunch.
