North Bay’s very own , all female sing-songwriters, Hidden Roots Collective (Annie Sumi, Holly Cunningham, Brigitte Lebel, and Rose-Erin Stokes) will cap off a full day of activities in celebration of International Women’s Day.

The Business Centre Nipissing Parry Sound in partnership with NECO Community Futures will be hosting a full day event which includes an inspiring key note speaker, followed by a documentary screening showcasing the stories of ambitious & inspiring female entrepreneurs during lunch. The afternoon will entail a tradeshow and engaging networking activities.

After 30 years, the Capitol Centre is still North Bay’s hub for arts and entertainment. Built in 1927, this 932-seat venue has played host to a wide range of live performances by the North Bay Symphony, international musical acts, acclaimed Broadway shows, dance recitals, weddings, workshops and movies. As you walk into the historic building’s entrance from the lively Main Street, you’ll see the WKP Kennedy Gallery with its ever-changing exhibits featuring the finest works of historical and contemporary northern, Canadian, and international visual artists.
