Please join us for the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority's Municipal Conference on April 12, 2018.

This conference serves as a great opportunity for municipal public works, planning and engineering staff to network and learn new strategies and best management practices for municipal projects working in and around water:
- Understand the “whys” of good erosion and sediment controls from a specialist in the field.
- Take home the “hows” of a variety of best management practices, winter preparedness and pollution prevention strategies
- Brace yourself for the storm of climate change adaptation.

Guest speakers Gord Miller, former Environmental Commissioner of Ontario shares insights on Municipal Climate Change Adaptation and Jill Attwood, Sr. Project Manager for the Waterfront, Toronto Region Conservation Authority will focus on the importance, installation, inspection and maintenance of sediment and erosion control structures.

The conference will run from 8:45 am to 12:30 pm in the Natural Classroom at the NBMCA - 15 Janey Avenue, North Bay.
A free light lunch will be provided.
