June 26, 27, 28, and 29th, 2017 from 9am-11am

This 4-part course is designed for women of Living Fit (and friends!) who have some on-road riding experience and want to improve their cycling abilities, independence, and knowledge of how to ride effectively in traffic. The course will empower participants with the confidence to safely navigate trails and roadways in the community by bike in a group and on their own. The rides are led and guided by female nationally certified CAN-BIKE instructors who will focus on teaching the rules of the road and the importance of staying visible and predictable while riding and communicating with all road users. Instructors aim to make cycling enjoyable and fun for all participants!

Course Length: 8 hours total (2 hours on each 4 days)
Location: 100 Ferguson Street, North Bay ON - meet at Civic Square; instructors will be wearing fluorescent vests
Ages: 16 and up
Required Equipment:
- bicycle in good working order, sized properly
- helmet
- bike bell
- closed toe shoes

Cost: $30 per person (includes registration in all 4 sessions)

Registration can also be completed at the Discovery Routes Trails Organization office at 205 Main Street East, North Bay.
