Family Winter Special Callander Museum

Winter blues bringing you down? Come and visit the hidden gem of downtown Callander!

We have the rock and mineral photography of Julia Breckenridge on display in the gallery until February 29. For the month of March, beginning on Saturday the 7th, the North Bay Art Association will be hosting their spring art exhibition in the gallery.

In the museum we have exhibits on: the Dionne quintuplets and Dr. Dafoe, the ships of Lake Nipissing, the logging industry of Callander Bay, the geological history of the Callander area, Amelia Earhart and her visit to Callander, the firefighting history of Callander, the railway industry, and we have a real, full-size barber shop from the 1920s.

Until March 28 we are pleased to offer a special for families. For only $15 you can bring up to 6 people to come and explore the museum and gallery! Remember that the gallery on its own has no admission but accepts donations.

Our winter hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00-5:00pm. Please note that we will be closed on Saturday February 22nd.
