In it’s 9th year, our popular Animation Creation and Video Bootcamp week-long summer day-camps for youth ages 8-13 and 11-14 are back!

Campers can try their hand at filmmaking or stop-motion animation and watching their grand idea come to life through the magic of video production. Working in teams, youth are led by an industry instructor to write, storyboard, shoot, score and edit their films with the help of fellow campers. At the end of the week, participants get to screen their masterpieces with a world premiere for friends and family.

Your instructors are Tyler Levesque and Liz Williamson, soon to be Canadore Cinematogrpahy grads and TV/Film industry professionals.

Cost: $175/week

Near North Mobile Media Lab (N2M2L) provides the tools media artists, students, filmmakers and audiences in Northern Ontario need to produce, present and enjoy contemporary media arts in all its forms. This includes but is not limited to: Media Installations Film Making Video Art Animation Documentary Arts Sound Production We provide a rental service of industry standard equipment at low prices, run workshops, hold screenings and events, and foster a growing community of media artists in our region. We are located in downtown North Bay and also work from our 16 foot mobile trailer retrofitted with the ability to house an entire production facility from shoot to edit!
