Birth of the Dionne Quintuplets – Recognized as an Historical Event in Canadian History by the Government of Canada

Date: August 5th
Time: 2 pm

Annette and Cecile Dionne will be returning to North Bay after 20 years, to help us celebrate the recognition of their births as an historical event in Canadian history.
Also attending will be representatives from Parks Canada, MP Anthony Rota, MPP Vic Fedeli, Mayor Al McDonald and City Council, and other dignitaries.

Event is Open to the Public, and will include free access to the Dionne Home and Discovery North Bay Museum. There will be a large tented area in case of rain or to provide shade.

Refreshments and Desserts will be served.
The actual ceremony will involve speeches from various Government officials, as well as the Spokesperson for the Dionne sisters. We will have someone there to sing O Canada, as well as some instrumentals before and after the ceremony.

A Plaque will be unveiled at the ceremony, recognizing the births.
