Callander's Cranberry Day

It is once again time to “celebrate the cranberry” as the Municipality of Callander will be hosting our annual Cranberry Day on Saturday, October 5, between 10:00a.m. and 3:00p.m. The event will take place along the Cranberry Trail, which is located at the end of Cranberry Rd. in the north end of Callander.

Craft and food vendors as well as community groups and live music will be set up in the parking lot to welcome visitors. You will then be able to walk the Trail (about 2.4km one way) and visit the marsh to pick some cranberries. Down the Trail there will be more community group displays as well as musicians to enhance your trip. At the entrance to the marsh there is the two level viewing platform and there will also be a display, snacks, music and guides to explain the cranberry marsh.

On site parking is very limited, but event organizers will be providing free shuttle bus service leaving from the parking lot at the north end of Centennial Park on Main St.N.
